Privacy Policy

The short version

• The site uses Microsoft Clarity to understand how pages are used (for example where people click and scroll). No advertising trackers are used.
• Nothing you type into the interactive demos (the terminal or the brand builder) is sent anywhere or stored. It stays in your browser and disappears when you leave the page.
• If you email or call, your message is used only to reply to you and to work with you.
• Your information is never sold.

1. Information collected

• Information you choose to send: your name, email address, phone number and anything you include when you email, call or message me.
• Basic technical data: like almost every website, the hosting provider automatically records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request) to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors.
• Usage data: Microsoft Clarity records how visitors interact with pages, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, along with device and browser details and approximate location. Clarity masks text you type into fields, and the data is used only to improve this site.

2. How it is used

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and deliver the work we agree on.
• To keep the site running, secure and free of abuse.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations for work I carry out.

3. Analytics and cookies

This site uses Microsoft Clarity, an analytics service from Microsoft, to see how pages are used (heatmaps and session recordings) so they can be improved. Clarity may set first-party cookies to recognise a returning browser; for visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland it runs without cookies. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy statement (privacy.microsoft.com). No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used. Fonts and images are served from this site itself. You can block Clarity with most browser privacy settings or content blockers without affecting how the site works.

4. Clipboard and interactive features

Clicking a colour swatch in the brand builder copies its hex code to your clipboard. The site only writes to your clipboard when you click, and never reads from it.

5. Sharing

Your information is shared only with services needed to run the site and my work (such as website hosting, email and Microsoft Clarity analytics), and only as far as they need it. It may also be disclosed where the law requires it. Links to social profiles and other websites are governed by those sites’ own privacy policies.

6. How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and to manage any work that follows, and project and billing records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR in the EU and UK, and US state laws such as those in California and Texas), you may have the right to access the personal information held about you, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict how it is used, and receive a copy of it. To make a request, email the address below. You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and uses standard security headers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but reasonable measures are taken to protect the information you share.

9. Children

This site is intended for businesses and adults, and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
