Overview

I designed a set of social media graphics for BoxPark Pico, a fast-food brand, covering new drinks, chicken tacos and a Cheetos slider. The set includes square posts, two wide banners and a short video clip. I worked in Illustrator and Photoshop for the stills and Premiere Pro for the motion piece.

Challenge

Each post had to announce one product fast, in a feed full of other food brands. The graphics also had to sit next to my BoxPark food photography without clashing, so the type and color needed to feel like the same brand.

Approach

I leaned on one tall condensed sans-serif set very large, usually in white or yellow, with a script word or accent dropped in for contrast, as in "Crush the Thirst" for the drink teaser. Each product got its own flat background: split green and yellow with a lemon slice for the drinks, coral with a sombrero, maracas and lime for the tacos, and a strong red for the slider series. For the slider I paired flying cheese-puff cutouts, a cartoon cheetah holding a burger, and a "Slide to Heaven" banner showing the branded slider box.

Outcome

The final set is six square posts, two wide banners ("Slide to Heaven" and "Unbox the Flavour") and a short clip of the Cheetos Sliders box sliding open to reveal the burger. They give the brand a matching run of launch and teaser posts for its feed.
