Overview
I designed a poster and a matching set of Instagram posts for Vicoustic, the acoustic panel brand, around the line Kill the Echo. The social set carries the Vicoustic and TGS logos together and is shown on the TGS Instagram profile, tgensol, where I worked as Digital Marketing Specialist.
Challenge
Acoustic treatment is hard to show in a picture, because the benefit is something you hear. The design needed to make the idea of an echo, and of removing it, visible without product photos or technical diagrams.
Approach
I made the word itself the image. The letters of echo repeat, overlap and tumble across the page in soft gray and a muted coral, the way a sound bounces around an untreated room. In the middle, one clean white echo sits on top of the pile with a small Kill the echo line in red, so the eye lands on the calm, clear version. The layout is mostly white space on a light background, with the Vicoustic wordmark in a corner. For social I split the pattern across connected square posts so they read as one continuous image in the feed.
Outcome
I delivered a portrait poster, shown framed in an interior mockup, and a series of square social posts, including an end frame with the Vicoustic Perfecting Acoustics Sustainably line and the TGS logo.
