Overview

For Sutoon Developers, a real-estate developer, I produced a short film of about forty-five seconds that documents a completed home. It combines a seated interview with the homeowner and walkthrough footage of the property, ending on the Sutoon Developers logo card, as part of an architectural archive.

Challenge

Showing rooms alone says little about how a house is lived in. I wanted the owner's own voice to carry the film, with the architecture shown in support, while keeping the piece short enough for social media.

Approach

I filmed the interview in the owner's study, framed with timber doors and glass-block walls, and cut it against footage of the property: tall wooden gates opening onto a herringbone-paved driveway, a covered carport, the garden wall and lawn, and a shaded terrace clad in pale stone. I edited in Premiere Pro, used After Effects for the closing logo card with the tagline "Designers | Architects | Engineers" and contact details, and kept the Sutoon mark in the corner of every shot.

Outcome

The result is a documentary-style short of roughly forty-five seconds that pairs a homeowner interview with exterior and terrace footage of the house and closes on a branded end card, adding another house to Sutoon Developers' archive of built work.
